"Why should we?"
"Asriel lets get out of here."

"You do know that-"

"No 'I don't KNOW that' smartass, just spit it out."

"Now I'm not going to."

"???"
"You're the one who wanted to tell us something!"
"Are you trying to use reverse phycology?"

"Okay maybe she's not that dumb…"

"What did you say?"

"I said-"
"Take off your damn hood I can barely hear you."
"Okay but if you agree to listen to what I have to say…"

The hooded figure takes off their hood. They are wearing a red cloak around their body and they have a hoodie over their head that shadows their face.

"Urghh. Great. that did nothing but show off your terrible sense of fashion."

"Says the one wearin-"

"Zip it."

"Alright. Now for what I have to say…"

Once upon a time, a LEGEND was whispered among shadows.

It was the LEGEND of HOPE. it was the LEGEND of DREAMS. It was the LEGEND of LIGHT. It was the LEGEND of DARK.

This is the legend of DELTA RUNE
For millenia, LIGHT and DARK have lived in balance,
Bringing peace to the WORLD.
But if this harmony were to shatter…
A terrible calamity would occur.
The sky will run black with terror
And the land will crack with fear.
Then, her heart pounding…
The EARTH will draw her final breath.
Only then, shining with hope…
Three HEROES appear at WORLDS' edge.
A HUMAN,
A MONSTER,
And a RULER FROM THE DARK.
Only they can seal the fountains
And banish the ANGEL'S HEAVEN.
Only then will balance be restored,
And the WORLD saved from destruction.
Today, the FOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS-
The geyser that gives this land form-
Stands tall at the center of the kingdom.
But recently, another fountain has appeared on the horizon…
And with it, the balance of LIGHT and DARK begins to shift…

"What a load of crap."
"So what are we supposed to be the heroes?"
"That LITERALLY makes no sense."
"Who is the human here?"

"It's-"
"What matters is that's not you."

"Nah, no need to worry about that anyways."
"What matters is that it's three heroes right?"
"And besides, what ruled Asriel out of being the wrong monster huh?"
"Well-"

"You know what?"
"Screw it. We're in!"

"I didn't even…"
"…"
"You both really need a crash course about how all of this works so we stand a chance."

"Nah, this was just a fluke."
"You were just cheating with whatever you were doing."

"You mean ACTing?"

"Yeah maybe acting like a total weenie and not attacking anyone just like this scared goat behind me."

"Asriel, what do you think?"

"What?"
"Why is his choice the one that matters?"

"You know how basic democracy works right?"
"I want to teach you guys."
"And you want to go running in knowing nothing."
"So clearly we need a tie breaker vote."
